Belle Vue Greyhounds Night 7th November Hurlstones Northern hosted their revived Greyhound Races event on Saturday 7th November. Part of the evening entertainment included a human race around the track. Those who took part in the race were Steve Ravenscroft of RPS Gregory (Superman), Daniel Colins of Foreman Roberts (Robin), John Mastin of Valves Instruments Plus (Spiderman), John Pittendrigh of Armstrong Pumps (Batman) and Samantha Bonnici(Catwoman). The race was won by Robin who impressed with his lightning pace. Superman performed a text book rugby tackle on Batman on the final straight. Not sure he would get away with that at the London Olympics. We would like to thank them all for taking part in the race,and also thank those who attended the event for their generosity throughout the evening. By supporting the human race, rafles and auctions we raised over £700 for charity. This will be split equally between the Retired Greyhounds Trust and Children in Need.
NEW Sensotherm Concept Ultra 2000 and 5000 range Sensotherm Europanel have introduced new and more flexible ranges of the ‘Concept ultra’ 2000, and 5000 horizontal and vertical radiators. The new Concept Ultra 2000 having a new 200mm high double and triple convector range (foot mounted options available), and larger ranges of 300,400,500,600,700 and 900mm heights. The Concept Ultra 5000 horizontal flat panel radiator with heights from 300mm up to 900mm and the vertical range available in single or double convectors ranging in heights from 1200mm to 2000mm. All ranges are pressure tested to 13 bar. The standard finish is RAL 9016 superb white enamel. The latest range of Saferad low surface temperature radiators have a larger range of sizes with the Model A available in heights from 350mm to the more common Model C down to floor range starting from 550mm (though in some cases available in 450mm) outputs covering up to 4kw on a delta t of 50 degrees.
