About our company
Today, everyone in the industry is expected to achieve more than ever before, in even less time than before. That’s why, when a company like Hurlstones Northern offers to save key people significant amounts of time, they are always going to get favourable reaction.
Coming from a manufacturing and contracting background themselves, the Engineers of Hurlstones Northern, Ken O’Donoughue and Paul Phillips, recognize that it takes a significant amount of time and effort at the start of the project to liaise with a number of different sales engineers for different product ranges.
John R Hurlstone and Partners were formed by John Hurlstone, an experienced sales engineer himself, in 1966, to address this problem by offering a single point of contact for products from a number of different manufacturers, with the technical expertise to advise consultants on the best tool for every job. John Hurlstone retired in at the end of 2001 and the business was renamed as Hurlstone and Partners. In September 2008 Hurlstone and Partners was divided into Hurlstones Northern Ltd and Hurlstones Midlands and South Ltd.
Concentrating on the Heating and Air Conditioning industries and offering a range of diverse but complementary products from the very small to the very large, Hurlstone Northern are effectively an outsourced sales force for products they represent and a very valuable source of technical information for contractors and consultants that use them.
Hurlstones Northern are based in Bury and cover North of England, North Wales and Scotland.
Each engineer concentrates on specific product areas which they therefore get to know very well and can offer sound, unbiased advice to their clients. Hurlstones Northern also employ additional follow up, clerical and administrative staff to support the business.
Hurlstones Northern are always looking to identify new and innovative products in the field of Heating and Air Conditioning, particularly issues that concern us all at the moment. They are therefore more than willing to receive details from manufactures of such products, as well was enquiries from contractors and consultants who recognise the significant time savings that can result from single point of contact during the design and specification stage.
